Headlice - 19 January 2015

There have been cases of head lice in school.  If you suspect your child has head lice, do not panic as   treatment is simple and effective. Headlice is a recurring problem in all schools and it is only by working together that we can eradicate this pest.  We do as much as we can in school to raise awareness of the problem but we rely on your support and cooperation in this matter. Please could you inform us  immediately you find eggs or lice in your child’s hair so that we can inform other parents so they can treat the cases as and when they occur. We have uploaded the WAG guidance on Headlice and you can open that further down this page. We have also included the letter sent out accompanying this guidance.

Thank you for your cooperation in this sensitive matter. If you would like further advice and guidance please do not hestitate to conatct the school.
